Riceviamo spesso quesiti dagli insegnanti sull’uso dei farmaci in urgenza, le cosiddette rescue medication, e domande sulle caratteristiche cliniche dei nostri pazienti, sulla loro possibilità di frequentare la scuola come gli altri bambini.
È un aspetto fondamentale del nostro lavoro. Organizziamo regolarmente incontri online con gli insegnanti, ovviamente con l’approvazione dei genitori. In questi incontri discutiamo le caratteristiche cliniche e le necessità specifiche di ogni ragazzo o ragazza, non solo riguardo alle crisi epilettiche, ma anche rispetto alle altre competenze del bambino in ambito scolastico.
Gli insegnanti ci offrono un punto di vista prezioso, che ci permette di integrare i dati clinici con le osservazioni fatte durante le attività scolastiche. Questo scambio è essenziale per fornire un supporto completo ai nostri pazienti e alle loro famiglie. Siamo sempre disponibili a collaborare e supportare gli insegnanti nelle loro richieste."
